At the request of shooters worldwide, Smith & Wesson is now offering select models of the M&P pistol with either a flat dark earth frame or carbon fiber finish. The M&P9 and M&P40 full-size and compact pistols are among the first models available with the new finish options.

Engineered to the exacting standards of working professionals, the M&P pistol provides an exceptional level of performance and safety. The full-size and compact M&P pistols with new finish options retain original design specifications, making both options ideally suited for personal protection, recreational shooting and professional use.

The M&P full-size pistol features a 4.25-inch barrel while the compact pistols are standard with a 3.5-inch barrel. The full-size and compact models feature a lightweight, durable polymer frame, maximum corrosion resistant finish and a ridged stainless-steel chassis. Additional features found on both models include a stainless-steel barrel and slide, universal Picatinny-style equipment rail and a sear release lever that eliminates the need to press the trigger in order to disassemble the pistol.

A loaded chamber indicator is located on top of the slide and an internal lock system is optional for military and law enforcement users. The pistol’s innovative ergonomic design is enhanced with three interchangeable grip sizes, allowing the user to customize grips in a matter of seconds. The firearm also features an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible magazine release, as well as an enlarged trigger guard designed to accommodate gloves. The Smith & Wesson lifetime service policy is standard with each pistol.

The full-size models in both 9mm and .40 S&W are available with standard capacity magazines while the compact models are shipped with both an extended and flat magazine. The M&P Series utilizes a white-dot dovetail front sight and a steel low-profile carry rear sight.

Smith & Wesson M&P9 and M&P45 Threaded Barrel Kits

Smith & Wesson is now offering two versions of its popular M&P pistol with an additional threaded barrel included in the box. Both the full-size M&P9 and M&P45 pistols will be shipped with an extra threaded barrel, allowing users to easily add sound suppressors to their personal firearms where legal.

The 9mm pistol features a thread pattern of 1/2”-28-2A while the .45 ACP pistol thread pattern is .578”-28-2A. The extra threaded barrel has a retail value of $175. The M&P9 and M&P45 pistols retain original design features including a durable, lightweight polymer frame, reinforced with a rigid stainless steel chassis and a maximum corrosion resistant finish. Both pistols utilize a stainless-steel barrel and slide and are standard with a white-dot dovetail front sight and a steel low-profile carry rear sight.

Other standard features include three interchangeable grip sizes, a loaded chamber indicator on the top of the slide, an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible magazine release. The M&P Pistol Series also features an enlarged trigger guard designed to accommodate gloves and a universal Picatinny-style equipment rail for tactical lights and lasers.

The striker-fired M&P9 and M&P45 pistols are shipped with two standard capacity magazines and the Smith & Wesson lifetime service policy is standard with each model.

Thompson/Center Arms T/C Encore Pro Hunter Complete Pistol and Rifle Systems

For 2015, Thompson/Center Arms has re-introduced one of the most prevalent single-shot hunting rifles ever made – the T/C Encore Pro Hunter. Now available as a fully complete firearm, today’s hunter can select either a T/C Encore Pro Hunter pistol or rifle to add to his or her hunting collection.

The new T/C Encore Pro Hunter is available in .243, .30-06, or .308 as a complete rifle or chambered in .223 or .308 as a pistol. The interchangeable firearm system is fully supported with accessory stocks and barrels ranging from .204 to .500 S&W Magnum along with additional shotgun, slug and muzzleloader barrels. The one-of-a-kind break-open platform is truly a gun for all seasons, allowing owners to customize the firearm to match their individual and hunting preferences.

At the heart of the T/C Encore Pro Hunter is the single-shot break-open action design that is accessible via the trigger guard. Utilizing the same stainless-steel frame assembly, owners can quickly and easily change components as needed for any shooting activity. The T/C Encore Pro Hunter rifle is standard with a 28" fluted barrel with a 1:10 twist for superior accuracy and improved ballistic performance. A FlexTech stock is also standard with each rifle, helping aid in recoil management. The rifle features an overall length of 42.5" and a standard length of pull of 14". The T/C Encore Pro Hunter rifle weighs in at 7.5 pounds making it easily carried during long days in the field.
