Our Link Policy

Interested in a link?

Our links are not free but they are a bargain in this marketplace. They are offered as a membership benefit to our members, and complimentary as a public service to other non-profit sport fishing clubs in the U.S. and Canada.

We also supply complimentary links to state, regional and federal government agencies (US & Canada) that have a presence or impact on our aquatic recreation. Additionally, we offer links to commercial sites that are corporate supporters of the GLSFC.

Requests for displays/ links for businesses such as Bait & Tackle Shops; Campgrounds; Charter Fishing; Fishing Camps; Marinas; Resorts, Lodges & Cottages; Taxidermy; Tourism; etc., please contact GLSFC for rates.

The Great Lakes Sport Fishing Council is a federally recognized 501 (c) (3) not-for- profit advocacy association of angling clubs, individuals and aquatic recreation businesses concerned with the conservation of our stocked and natural resources and the protection, promotion and enhancement of recreational fishing.

All Donations may be tax deductible

To help offset the cost and because the GLSFC's board of directors feel it should be a member benefit to have displays & links from our web site, we're asking individuals, companies and organizations requesting a link to pay a reasonable fee for the service to promote your business. We are a federally recognized non-profit organization and it's a small price to pay for promoting and marketing your business. We average over 100,000 visitors a month, and give great emphasis to our members and supporters & their businesses. That is who is supporting the GLSFC, and that 's who we'll support.

Our fees are very reasonable and beat the "competition" by a mile. You get the biggest bang for your buck with us , and the most marketing exposure for your minimal investment. Our award winning web site was voted "the best anglers web site on the web" with over 1,200,000 visitors in 2000. That's a lot of exposure for the GLSFC, its members and the sport fishing community.
