Dedicated to maintaining sportfishing on Lake Michigan, while preserving and protecting our natural resources

Ludington Area Charterboat Association (LACA), represents more than 60 independent Fishing Charter businesses more than 45 associate fishermen and more than 50 area supporting businesses.

LACA is best known for it's Net Pen Project, raising and releasing over 120,000 chinooks annually into the Sable River, a tributary of Lake Michigan .

Meeting Location:
LACA holds general membership meetings 3 or 4 times each year, Usually in January, May, July (optional) and August. Please contact the Association for the dates and meeting locations which vary from year to year.

All meetings are open to the public.

Dues:

•Regular Members (Coast Guard Licensed Captains): $60.00 per year

•Associate Members (interested persons without a Coast Guard License): $30.00 per year

•Sustaining Members: (businesses and benefactors): $100 per year
