Illinois Steelheaders dedicated to the conservation and |
The Illinois Steelheaders is a fishing organization that is dedicated to conservation. The group mostly concentrates on the trout and salmon fishery in the Great Lakes; however, the club is not composed of strictly stream fishermen or fly fishermen, but are a well rounded group of individuals truly interested in most aspects of fishing who are willing to share their knowledge with fellow members. Members range from expert fly tiers, outdoor writers, rod builders, tackle dealers, tackle manufactures, beginning Anglers, fishing travel consultants and the "obsessed fisherman". Members frequently get together for local outings and trips around the great lakes and other locations. We encourage and welcome new members who share our enthusiasm.
