So for this group, they’ve introduced inexpensive but highly functional reels and combos retailing between $30 and $70. Response is phenomenal.
Response is the name for this new affordable baitcast reel family, and benefits from the many quality and proven features common to Quantum’s higher-priced gear. Response baitcast reels are low-profile designs, and it’s amazing what anglers get for the approximate reasonable price tag. These are four-bearing reels on one-piece graphite frames, featuring DynaMag cast control and Continuous Anti-Reverse. Gear ratios are high-speed 6.2:1.
Response baitcasters come in right and left-hand retrieve models, options usually only found among the most expensive reels.

All Response spinning models are six-bearing reels featuring a super-thin graphite body, aluminum side cover and butt cap, aluminum Long Stroke spool and smooth front-adjustable drag. Their handles are machined aluminum. Needless to say, each is a lot of reel for the very reasonable selling price.

Response Baitcast combos are an amazing value. These combos feature sensitive IM7 graphite rods with cork handles and come in two models: a 6’6 medium action and a 7’ medium-heavy action. Right and left-hand reel choices apply to the combos as well. The Response baitcast reels are low-profile designs, four-bearing reels on one-piece graphite frames, featuring DynaMag cast control and Continuous Anti-Reverse. Gear ratios are high-speed 6.2:1.

Gives anglers Code for fishing success There are equipment familiarity advantages to having baitcast and spinning reels from the same "family", so anglers who fell in love last year with Quantum’s Code baitcast reels will be happy to know that Code spinning reels are also now available.
Four models make up the Code spinning reel series, ranging from an ultralight 10-size up to the medium 40-size. All are on Quantum’s ThinLine aluminum bodies and feature eight quality bearings, magnetic bail trip, MAGLOCK II Continuous Anti-Reverse and multi-stack ceramic drag system. Code handles are machined aluminum and are interchangeable to right or left-hand retrieves.
The CD10F has a line capacity of approximately 125 yards/4 lb. test, the CD20F holds around 140 yards/6 lb. test, the CD30F takes about 160 yards/8 lb. test and the CD40F fills at 230 yards/10 lb. test. Gear ratios are 5.2:1 for all models except the 10-size, which is 5.3:1.

Quantum Walleye Grade baitcasters Walleye Grade baitcasters get thumbs-up Its okay for anglers to be "all thumbs" when fishing with the new Quantum Walleye Grade baitcast reels because that’s how they work when their trolling switch is on, with the thumb.
Walleye baitcasters are low-profile thumb bar reels that come equipped with the trolling switch feature so line can be paid out while trolling, without having to continually disengage and reengage the reel. With the trolling switch in the “on” position, the angler simply holds the thumb bar down to let more line out and then releases the thumb bar to reengage the spool. The process allows for easy one-hand adjustments to the amount of line out while trolling.
When it’s time to do some casting, you need only to turn the trolling switch to the "off" position to resume the reel’s normal thumb bar activation. The Walleye Grade baitcast reel is available in right and left hand versions, both featuring 6.3:1 gear ratios and 10 stainless steel bearings for the finest in “super-free-spool” control and smoothness. A one-piece aluminum frame provides a no-flex foundation for bearings and gears.
Other high-performance features include ACS II external adjustable centrifugal cast control, Continuous Anti-Reverse, titanium-coated line guide and MaxCast aluminum spool.
