Bite Alert reel goes hi-tech Zebco introduces its world famous 33 spincast and new 30-size spinning reels that now come equipped with its patented BiteAlert technology. BiteAlert is a built-into-the-reel bite detector that signals a strike with bright flashing red lights and an audible alarm.
The sight and sound features to detect bites take all of the guesswork out of fishing in daylight and darkness. This technology is available in a spincast or spinning reel, and the feature can be turned on or off with a push of a button.
The 33 BiteAlert spincast model has a ball bearing drive with a 3.3:1 gear ratio, stainless steel covers and triple-cam multi-disk drag. It comes pre-spooled with 130 yards of quality 10 lb. test line. The BiteAlert lights are located across the top of the reel, right behind the front cover for perfect visibility from all angles. The spincast reel has a high and low setting to adjust the BiteAlert sensitivity.

BiteAlert spinning reel has a ball-bearing drive with a 5.0:1 gear
ratio, Continuous Anti-Reverse and comes pre-loaded with 175 yards of
quality 10 lb. test line. The BiteAlert lights are located at the butt
of the reel for visibility from all sides. The spinning reel has a
sensitivity dial that can be adjusted according to fishing conditions.

The next step up for spincast Zebco has added Delta to its high-quality spincast family. The Delta spincast reel doesn’t fall far behind the Omega when it comes to beefed-up features in the push-button reel category. It has five bearings with double anodized aircraft aluminum covers. A triple-cam multi-disc drag makes it capable of handling some serious fishing.
An oscillating spool lays down line evenly, and the multi-point positive line pickup system captures the line during retrieve. The Delta reel’s ceramic line guide allows smooth flow of line in and out. A sealed, soft-touch rubber thumb button provides user comfort. The dual, soft-knob handle is interchangeable for right or left hand cranking.

Available in three different size models – the 11PTiC, 33PiTC and 733OTiC – each matches the appropriate-size Platinum reel to the right rod length and action, covering a variety of fish species and fishing conditions. The reels have all the Platinum family traits including metal bodies, corrosion proof stainless steel covers, continuous anti-reverse and three stainless steel bearings.
What’s new though, and the reason for the "Ti" designation, is that each of these three reels have long-lasting titanium nitride line guides and pickup pins. Rod blanks are durable E-glass, a material often used in high-end fresh and saltwater rods. Rod tips are reinforced, unbreakable solid glass, with a blue core insert visible on the inside.
The insert captures any form of available light, making the rod tip easy to see for fish-strikes even in low light conditions. Rod handles are split-grip cork with the no-foregrip-design in front. That gives the combos the high-end, high-performance look of rods costing several times more.

With a new re-designed reel Zebco’s Standard Series spincast reels, the 202, 404 and 606, are setting new standards for 2009 with a total re-design. On all three models, removable spools will return with this new design, and the star drag system will be replaced with a wide range adjustable drag.
