Bait-Tackle Shops - Serving the anglers with fishing tackle, live bait, resident and non-resident licenses, and local fishing information.
Boat Storage - Marinas, storage yards, boat wrapping, winterizing, etc.
Charter Fishing by Port - Charter Captains/Guides who fish the Ohio waters of Lake Erie. Some are guides on the inland rivers and lakes of Ihio.
Campgrounds - Facilities for tent camping and/or electrical hookups for trailers/campers. Most have shower facilities. Some also offer launching access to nearby water bodies. (Launch ramps are cross-referenced below)
Fishing Camps - On-site fly fishing or casting instruction camps. Most include lodging and meals as a package deal.
Fishing Clubs - Conservation oriented sport-fishing groups promoting fishing in the lakes and streams of Ohio. All are open to the public and charge annual membership fee. Some offer "How To" work shops, tournaments, community involvement and/or monthly meetings with speakers.
Fishing Reports - Some pages offer extensive information regarding multiple state locations, others are lake or stream specific. If you know of a good fishing report site pass it on and we'll add it here.
Fishing Sites - General interest fishing sites that are open to the public. Some offer info on fly fishing, others are species specific, or offer how to information, etc.
Launch Ramps - Boat-launching facilities to rivers or lakes of Ohio. Some are privately owned-others are open to the public without a user fee. Many charge a daily fee or offer a seasonal rate.
Marinas - Moorings and services for boaters, including product and repairs for boats and motors. Most have some slips set aside for transient boaters. Some also offer launching access to nearby water bodies. (Launch ramps are cross-referenced above)
Propeller Repairs - Grinding, refinishing, painting, etc.
Resorts, Lodges, Cottages - Lodging specifically oriented to the angling and boating community, with nearby launching facilities. Some offer meals, kids activities, etc.
Rod-Reel Repairs- Offering repairs to rod or reels or both.
State DNR - Federal Offices - Headquarters and branches located throughout the state.
State Records - Over 45 Ohio fish records, everything from Bass to Walleye
Tackle Shopping Online - Opportunities to buy fishing tackle thru Online retailers.
Taxidermy - Mounting fish, wildlife, etc.
Tourism - State, county and local offices offering community information.
