The Northwest Indiana Steelheaders, were organized a couple of years before "skamania mania" hit Indiana

Some shore and stream fishermen banded together to preserve a tremendous fishery that was developing for boat and shore.

                                  Izaak Walton just west of  Rt. 249 at the Portage

                                  Marina entrance.

We meet the 1st Thursday of each month at 7pm
